A small sauna with an ocean view for a friend on the South Shore of Nova Scotia. The client wanted to build the project herself. As such, it was designed to be easily and quickly fabricated with minimal assistance of tradespeople. The sauna acts as a refuge for a single occupant or a gathering place for friends and family.
